PHOENIX FEST

Come out to CHAR BAR & BBQ in Sachse and help raise money for a family who’s house recently burned down. Christopher Paul, from the Kiss tribute “Rock and Roll Over,” experienced an electrical fire that not only took his home and possessions but also his family pet. Friends in the music community have agreed to come together for this epic event to raise money for the heavy expenses involved, and we need your help by coming to show your support and have an awesome experience with tributes to KISS, DEF LEPPARD, RATT, DOKKEN, and LOVERBOY.

There will be raffles throughout the day, and we are looking for donations to use as prizes. If you would like to contribute something, please click the PRIZE DONATIONS link, fill out the short form, and we will eagerly be in contact with you. Items can be gift cards for restaurants, stores, etc., gift certificates to local businesses, tickets to upcoming live events, and other prize appropriate items. Thank you so much, and we can’t wait to see you soon!

From the family:

Hi, my name is Christopher (Paul) Milligan. I’m a professional musician residing in the Dallas Texas area. My family home caught on fire Tuesday January 17, 2023 in what appears to be an electrical malfunction. Our home is due to be completely gutted and hopefully rebuilt. This has my wife Patricia (professional educator at Mesquite Texas ISD) daughter and myself displaced from our home for the foreseeable future. While no human life was lost as no one was home, my daughter Paisley lost her first beloved pet, a Siberian husky named Lily, and everything that she owns. From keepsakes from infancy, clothing, up to and including what she received for Christmas less than a month ago. We are literally robbing her charred and broken piggy bank to do laundry to wash the school uniform she was wearing the day of the fire. Patricia did not fare any better, as the fire ravaged everything she had as well. We are a proud and hard working family that has never asked for help before, but we are sheepishly asking now. The funds will be used to defray living expenses, the unpredictable shortfall of what insurance will cover, and to hopefully make our daughter Paisley’s life as normal as possible in this difficult time. If you’re unable to give, we understand, but to those that can, no amount is too small. We thank you for your gracious donations and may God bless you.
